What does anyone know about click income?

Is Search Engine Optimization running out of algorithms to get higher bids and better paying customers or is click income supporting the internet profit base to keep the internet profitable. Isn't the whole idea of advertising about getting viewers interested in products. How can that be accomplished without millions of advertisers marketing to billions of people globally. Click income fills that marketing niche' does it not? If not for Click Income why would millions of people click on billions of ads for free? Don't ads usually offend us? Don't we go for coffee or pop and chips when we see one or skip them altogether? Why not make it profitable to view ads and then the economy can have a support base to the new products mostly digital and informational, and we can get back to the business at hand, evolving our planets needs and wants, and get back to living the good life?
